Michael is the founder and visionary of the LiBassi Wine Program. Growing up in an Italian American home, wine was a regular part of Michael's formative years as it was included in most important meals. His inspiration for the program really started in October, 2016 on his honeymoon with the CFO, Theresa LiBassi, when they went to Italy. Part of their stay was in the Tuscany region, two stops in Montalcino and Greve in Chianti. Michael's passion was ignited after a handful of winery tours in this region. When Michael isn't performing his duties in the business world he enjoys spending his down time pouring into wine knowledge and researching the next region their travels will take them. The LiBassi Wine Program is Michael's way of sharing his passion with those closest to him who enjoy good wine. Michael is currently a WSET Level 2 Pass with Distinction studying towards his WSET Level 3.

Theresa is the Co-Founder of the LiBassi Wine Program. Her duties as Chief Financial Officer entail primarily of letting Michael know when his wine spending budget has exceeded capacity. Theresa is known by many to have the best "nose" of anyone in the LWP. She also keeps Michael humble by making sure the wine inventory always is diluted with a few bottles of FitVine. When Theresa isn't performing her duties as Strategic Business Development Manager of Allergan Aesthetics, she is happily joining and supporting Michael in all his wine studies and travels.

As the LiBassi Wine Program has grown and the personal wine inventory in the LiBassi household has expanded, the need for security has arisen. The LiBassis needn't look any further to fill this role than their 110 pound Cane Corso. Luca's main responsibilities include greeting LWP members at the door with a suspicious look until they give her treats and scaring the daylights out of any UPS/FedEx drivers so they don't wait around for a signature on the wine deliveries.
